I have a 89 XJ and the transmission went on it... I am curious as to what model years are interchangeable with the 89? Also, Anyone know of any conversion kits to make my Automatic a Manual?

My Jeep has the Straight 6 with the AW4 Trans.

hellooooo, Is this thing on? Just kidding, Hello from OKC. I am a jeepster nut..early splt window or 67 to71. 72&73 are goofy looking,but good for parts from the windshields back. I am sure i just pissed-off somebody but the truth hurts sometimes. OK...where was i?? Oh yeah, jeepster nut. Always looking to talk with other jeepster peoples or find jeepster parts 67-71. I have two and a half 67 models. One hard top that serves as my daily driver, V-6 buick power with lots of goodys,fenderwell headers with 2.5"flowmasters,3-spd std,d-20,d-27 ft,d-44rear,3:73 open diffs f&r.
